Job Title / Role**: Core Team Member - Purchase- ** Department**: NPD - 2W- ** Location**: Hosur Plant, Tamil Nadu- **
Purpose**:
- 1)Co-ordinate and ensure delivery of exclusive parts for New products/refresh/upgrades meeting QCD targets and project timeline.(Alpha to SOP). 2)Responsibilities will also include managing cross-functional teams with in purchase section as well as co-ordinating with other functions CTM to have seamless communications. 3)Responsible for maintaining Target profit contribution through tracking & reporting of Target FMC Vs Actual on weekly basis.-
- **Role Description**-
- Ability to Work out initial system level target cost based on Preliminary BOM receipt from R&D / Program team.- Ensure Target cost sign off & share the part level cost to DE's for TCD preparation and sign off.
- Prepare Make or buy sheet and complete discussion with all stake holders for final signoff on Brought out parts agreement.
- Ensure 100% submission of manufacturing feedback as well as Design feedback to R&D team prior to L2R release.
- Sourcing proposal sheet preparation & sign off with all NPD and CP as well as Conduct capacity analysis for common parts and communicate to CP.
- Responsible for Tooling budget preparation & approval of Budget from all the related Departments prior to Capex raising after DR1 approval.
- Creation of all project DR documents(DR1 to DR5) and clarification to panel members (MR) prior to final sign off.
- Attending Daily TOC flow meeting & Ensure DE's TOC activity updation aligning to mile stones.
- Responsible for preparation of FMC preparation, circulation & controlling the budget with in the Target FMC.
- Responsible for preparation of Prognosis report on weekly basis and submit to Program team prior to HOD NPD 2W review on respective project.
- Responsible in generating Cost reduction ideas progress tracking & escalation to management in case of Target FMC not met.
- Monitor development activities as per the Supplier's APQP / Tool / Gauges timing plan
- Review and update Risk mitigation plan prepared during DR1A.
- Prepare delivery plan as well as ramp up pan for exclusive parts of supplier parts of project to Prg team.
- Monitor & co-ordinate for IPSF raising and Ensure 100% completion of OE & SPD Part PO release prior to Beta assy.
- Ensure 100% PSW sign off for all exclusive parts as per DR1 signed off volume.
- Ensure Capacity readiness & prepare ramp up plan inline with DR1 signed off volume.
- Monitor & co-ordinate for PFT raising & Buyer code change to regular CPG buyer and ensure 100% PFT completion.-
