**VACANCY FOR GARDENER**

**SGT University** (NAAC A+ accredited), in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers around 160+ programmes in Medical and Non-Medical domains. It nurtures more than seven thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation’s who’s who. It is a part of a group spanning the fields of education and hospitality. The University employs close to three thousand people. **Qualification & Experience**:

- High school diploma.
- Proven experience as a Gardener, with a focus on cutting and shaping plants and trees.
- Strong knowledge of plant species, pruning techniques, and horticultural practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Horticulture or landscaping certification is a plus.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular cutting and pruning of plants, trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their health and appearance.
- Shape and sculpt plants and trees to enhance their aesthetic appeal and promote healthy growth.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment, such as shears, pruners, chainsaws, and trimmers, safely and effectively.
- Work closely with landscape designers and project managers to execute cutting and pruning plans according to project specifications.
- Assist in the installation and establishment of new landscaping projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass.
- Prepare soil, amend planting beds, and install irrigation systems as needed to support new plantings.
- Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, and other issues, taking appropriate measures to address them.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
