**Key Skills: Sybase, Database Admin, SQL Server, Migration, Optimization**

Looking for a Database expert in SQL Server and Sybase relational database with in-depth knowledge of the DB internals i.e. storage, optimization, tuning, partitioning etc. in addition to SQL knowledge to write queries and stored procedures. The person should be willing to support the database on daily basis and keep it in good health ongoing basis with periodic necessary maintenance.

He/she will interact directly with the users and other technologists across the firm when using their framework/software.

**Skillset required**:

- Excellent working knowledge of Databases, Sybase, MS SQL Server
- Sound understanding of Object-oriented analysis, Design and Programming
- Experience of iterative / agile development practices.
- Exposure to working in a global delivery team.
- Comfortable with direct interaction with the business users at all levels.

**Options Skills**:

- Familiarity with Spring, JAVA, multi-threaded systems
- Prior experience in investment banking
