Position Title: Liaison Officer
Location: Borivali West
Reporting to: Director
**Job Summary**: The Liaison Officer in the advertising agency is responsible for managing office documentation processes and representing the agency in interactions with government offices and regulatory authorities as required. This role involves overseeing document management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and facilitating communication and coordination with external stakeholders. The Liaison Officer plays a critical role in maintaining positive relationships with government agencies and supporting the agency's operations through effective liaison activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Office Documentation Management:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and maintenance of office documents, records, contracts, agreements, and other official records related to the agency's operations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements in all documentation processes.
- Develop and implement standardized documentation procedures and guidelines to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
2. Government Liaison and Representation:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with government offices, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Visit government offices as required to obtain permits, licenses, approvals, and regulatory clearances for the agency's projects, campaigns, and events.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between the agency and government agencies to address inquiries, requests, and compliance issues.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing the advertising industry and related activities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and changes in legal requirements and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards through proactive measures and adherence to established protocols.
4. Relationship Building and Networking:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with government officials, representatives, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and cooperation.
- Attend meetings, forums, and networking events to represent the agency's interests and foster goodwill with external partners and agencies.
- Act as a liaison between the agency and government bodies to address concerns, resolve issues, and advocate for the agency's needs and priorities.
- Should have knowledge of the wards and departments in the government offices.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, communications, and activities related to government liaison and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and updates on government liaison activities, regulatory compliance efforts, and outcomes for internal review and documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all relevant documents, permits, licenses, approvals, and correspondence with government offices.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, or related field. Additional certifications or training in government liaison, regulatory compliance, or related areas are a plus.
2. Proven experience in liaison, government relations, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the advertising industry or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of government processes, regulations, procedures, and requirements relevant to the advertising industry.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with government officials and stakeholders. Knowing Marathi Language is a plus.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information and representing the agency's interests.
**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
