Western Group of Companies is a leading shipbuilding and repair company that specializes in the construction and maintenance of commercial and naval vessels. We are seeking experienced Marine Fitters to join our team.

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems on ships, including pipes, pumps, valves, and engines.

2. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and requirements of mechanical equipment and systems.

3. Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and welding machines.

4. Weld and join metal components using various welding processes, such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW).

5. Inspect and test mechanical equipment and systems to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

6. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as welders and machinists, to ensure mechanical equipment and systems are installed correctly.

7. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. 1+ years of experience as a marine fitter in a shipbuilding or repair setting.

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems, including pipes, pumps, valves, and engines.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.

5. Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in welding or marine fitting.

2. Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
