1. Create detailed drawings and plans for HVAC systems based on specifications provided by engineers or consultants. Use AutoCAD software to produce accurate technical drawings that include layouts, dimensions, and specifications for ductwork, piping, and equipment.

2. Must ensure that their designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

3. Work closely with HVAC engineers, consultants, and other professionals involved in the building design process, participate in meetings to discuss project requirements, provide input on design decisions, and incorporate feedback into their drawings.

4. Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and functionality, may need to make revisions or modifications to drawings based on feedback from project managers or changes in project requirements.

5. Creating As-Built Drawings of the actual layout and configuration of installed equipment and components for maintenance, renovation, and future planning purposes
