**Key Responsibilities**:
**XML Production and Management**: Create, edit, and validate XML files for publishing workflows. Ensure XML is compliant with industry standards such as JATS, DTDs, or other schemas. Perform quality checks to ensure well-structured and error-free XML content.

**EPUB Creation and Conversion**: Develop and convert content into EPUB 3, including fixed layout formats. Ensure EPUB files are compatible across various e-readers and platforms. Implement metadata, accessibility features (WCAG compliance), and interactivity as required.

**Journal Production**:Manage end-to-end journal publishing workflows, including article preparation, pagination, and online publishing.Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of journal content.Monitor and troubleshoot any errors in journal outputs, ensuring adherence to publishing standards.

**Quality Assurance**:Conduct thorough quality checks on XML, EPUB, and journal files.Validate outputs against client specifications and platform requirements.Resolve formatting, structural, or compatibility issues efficiently.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with internal teams, including designers, developers, and content managers.Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.

**Technical Skills**:
Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and DTD/schema validation.

Hands-on experience with EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 (including Fixed Layout).

Familiarity with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Sigil, Calibre, or similar.

Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG and ARIA for digital publishing.

**Publishing Expertise**:
Strong understanding of journal production workflows and standards.

Experience with JATS XML or similar standards for journal articles.

**Soft Skills**:
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot file issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹260,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
