**Key Responsibilities1. Transaction Management**
- Greet customers warmly and courteously as they approach the counter.
- Accurately process orders, payments, and refunds through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded and receipts are issued for every order.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and any digital payment methods securely.

**2. Customer Service**
- Provide detailed menu knowledge to customers, including promotions, discounts, and specials.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with take-out and delivery orders when applicable.

**3. Cash Management**
- Count the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift to ensure accurate balances.
- Report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain the security of all monetary transactions.

**4. Workspace Maintenance**
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure promotional materials or menu displays at the counter are up-to-date.
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness when required.

**5. Team Support**
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in other tasks, such as preparing beverages or packaging take-out orders, during busy periods.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Requirements**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Skills**:

- Basic math and computer proficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle fast-paced environments.
- Problem-solving abilities and a customer-first attitude.

**Working Conditions**
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
