**Experience**: 5-6 years (Must have worked in startups or dynamic environments)
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter/MBA Finance is a plus but not mandatory).
- hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills — able to liaise independently with auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- **Daily Accounting Operations**:
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries across payables, receivables, banking, and general ledger.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory dues (GST, TDS, etc.).
- **Audit Coordination and Compliance**:
- Collaborate with auditors, CFO, and internal teams to support timely closure of audits and compliance processes.
- Prepare and organize necessary documentation for statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
- **Financial Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and ad hoc financial analysis as required by the management.
- Support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- **Process Adherence and Improvement**:
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance guidelines.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
