The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by coordinating sales-related activities and ensuring smooth operations. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and providing essential support to optimize the sales process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Support Sales Team: Assist the sales team in achieving targets by coordinating sales activities, managing schedules, and providing administrative support.
Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customer, providing information about products, services, and order status in a timely and professional manner.
Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and submitted on time.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock availability, and update inventory records as needed.
Sales Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports on a regular basis, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
CRM Maintenance: Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems, update customer profiles, and ensure data accuracy.
Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales activities.
Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties including preparing sales presentations, organizing meetings, and managing sales documentation.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations, particularly related to sales transactions and customer data privacy.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in a similar industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Prior experience in inventory management and sales reporting is desirable.
