Manager - Raw and Packaging Material Quality will be responsible for managing all aspects of raw and packaging materials quality, from auditing current and potential suppliers, to brewery level SOPs, integration and sensory panels, to market-based complaints, to improvement projects.

The individual in this role will manage the entire process of assuring raw and packaging material quality of our products in the market, ensuring the highest quality beers, in the best possible condition, with impeccable brand presentation, as well as standardizing use of these raw and packaging materials at brewery level to promote quality and consistency across breweries.

This involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including brewery and quality managers at each brewery, key suppliers, auditors or consultants, points of consumption of our beers, and sales teams.

The individual will drive long term value to our company by developing relationships with suppliers, allowing us to procure the highest quality materials, and with our brewing and quality teams for implementation and integration of new materials and systems.

The individual will be expected to maintain a practical and working knowledge of multiple problem solving and process improvement systems and industry-leading brewery quality management. He/she will understand trends in the brewing industry and devise action plans for how to adapt our process, breweries, and new product development systems to those trends.

This position requires fluid communication between internal and external stakeholders, especially with supply chain.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Compliance and Improvement**
- **Compliance**: Responsible for ensuring all material inputs meet internal quality standards and all required regulatory standards
- **Process Improvement**: Responsible assisting in process improvement projects related to RM or PM.

**RM/PM Quality**
- **PM Quality**:Responsible for managing quality SOPs and specifications for all packaging materials used in process.
- **RM Quality**:Responsible for managing quality SOPs and specifications for all raw materials used in process.
- **Integration**: Responsible for seamless integration of all PM and RM used in breweries

**Sensory**
- **Flavor & Freshness**: Responsible for ensuring all material inputs are of a standard quality, allowing our beers to remain consistent against their PTS and sensory profile
- **Global Sensory**: Responsible for ensuring all taste panel training programs are active and compliant globally

**Qualification and Skill Set**:

- **EDUCATION**:

- Recent experience in the brewing industry in operations is strongly preferred
- Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure quality operations are conducted according to intent across multiple languages and cultures
- Must be a self-starter, willing to engage in what must be done without direct instruction
- Must be organized to optimally manage a complex and international production portfolio
- Must be a natural motivator, understanding how to get the best out of a diverse and international team
