Machinery Operator

**Job Summary**:
The Printing Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting printing machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires proficiency in adjusting settings, monitoring print quality, and ensuring that production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Printing Machine Operator will work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Printing Machine Operation**:

- Set up, adjust, and operate various types of printing machines (e.g., offset, digital, flexographic) to produce high-quality printed materials based on customer specifications.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
- Load printing materials such as paper, film, ink, and plates into the machine.
- Conduct test runs to ensure proper registration, color matching, and other print quality requirements.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect printed products for defects, such as color inconsistencies, misprints, or ink smudging, and make necessary adjustments to the equipment to resolve issues.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure compliance with production standards and client requirements.
- Maintain detailed production logs documenting quantities printed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- **Machine Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, oiling, and changing rollers, plates, and other parts.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on machines; escalate complex issues to senior maintenance technicians as needed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- **Material Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of consumable materials (e.g., ink, paper, chemicals) and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and waste.
- **Production Efficiency**:

- Ensure that print jobs are completed within set timelines and meet established production targets.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize speed and quality, minimizing downtime and waste.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Design, Quality Control, Maintenance) to address any production delays or issues.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Follow environmental regulations regarding the disposal of waste materials, chemicals, and ink.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Complete daily production reports and record any machine malfunctions, maintenance, or quality issues.
- Communicate with the supervisor or manager regarding job progress, material usage, and any significant problems that may impact production schedules.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with other operators, maintenance staff, and production managers to ensure smooth workflow and efficient machine operation.
- Assist in training new operators on machine setup, operation, and safety protocols

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
