**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to inspire students in developing healthy habits, physical fitness, and sportsmanship. The PE Teacher will plan and implement engaging lessons to teach students the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and wellness, while encouraging participation in both individual and team sports. This role requires enthusiasm for teaching, the ability to manage students effectively, and the desire to create a positive and inclusive physical education environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that focus on a wide range of physical activities, including sports, fitness, and motor skills development.
- Teach the fundamentals of various sports, including basketball, soccer, swimming, volleyball, gymnastics, track and field, and fitness exercises.
- Incorporate lessons on health, nutrition, and overall well-being to promote a well-rounded understanding of fitness and health.
- Design and implement fun, engaging activities that develop coordination, strength, flexibility, and teamwork.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Foster a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to participate and succeed.
- Ensure safety during all physical activities, providing clear instructions on proper techniques and injury prevention.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused, respectful, and inclusive learning space.
- **Student Assessment and Progress**:

- Regularly assess and monitor students’ physical fitness levels, progress, and participation in various activities.
- Provide constructive feedback on individual performance and encourage improvement.
- Keep detailed records of student performance and development in both fitness and sportsmanship.
- **Promoting Physical Fitness and Healthy Living**:

- Encourage students to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle, both inside and outside of school.
- Motivate students to set and achieve personal fitness goals.
- Organize and lead activities that promote health and wellness, including fitness challenges, health weeks, and wellness education.
- **Extracurricular Activities and Events**:

- Organize and coach after-school sports teams, clubs, and fitness programs.
- Plan and oversee inter-school sports competitions, track and field events, or fitness days.
- Coordinate and participate in school-wide sports events such as tournaments, field days, or annual fitness assessments.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, participation, and behaviour.
- Attend faculty and department meetings, and contribute ideas for improving the physical education curriculum.
- **Material and Equipment Management**:

- Ensure that the gymnasium, sports fields, and other physical education facilities are well-maintained and properly stocked with equipment.
- Monitor and manage the use of sports equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and safe for student use.
- Coordinate the purchase or replacement of new equipment as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in physical education or coaching (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Skills:

- Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and health education.
- Ability to teach students with varying levels of physical ability and fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and motivating lessons for students of all ages.
- Certifications: Valid teaching certification in Physical Education (or equivalent as required by local education authorities).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to demonstrate physical activities and sports techniques, and participate in physical activities as required.
