This position will focus on continuous measurement, analysis, forecasting and reporting of project cost, cash and revenues, for monitoring and recording changes as well as for implementation of aligned project specific strategies for cost control. The Project Cost Controller is responsible for all the financial aspects of a project and ensuring the financial information aligns to the latest project schedule.

**What will you do?**

**Controlling**:

- Assist in Developing detailed Projects Cost Structures and coding under the Standard Work Breakdown Structures for various project types and reflect it in the ERP and relevant systems.
- Analyzing and monitoring the project progress, costs in relation to the project budget and forecast
- Performing variance analysis, and flag out any gaps in manpower, equipment, planning, construction, revenue and cash.
- Reflecting the approved trend impacts in the project forecast.
- Generate Earned Value reports from the cost tool.
- Performing and coordinating ad-hoc project controls analysis to support the project team.
- To develop and implement cost control technique and methods.

**Reporting**:

- Prepare together with the PM and lead PC's the core of the monthly budget reporting i.e. Executive update, Progress curves, cost status, Manpower Plan, Risk analysis, Cash and Revenue
- Ensure all purchase requisition are received, verified, and validated against the assigned budget. Highlight any discrepancy and take action with the PM accordingly.
- Ensure the phased activities are recorded and reflected in all systems, and accessible to the project team to monitor the progress against cost, and against schedule.
- Computing the unbilled progress and informing Finance team be book the accruals based on physical progress achieved.
- Provide the necessary support to the Country controller for the preparation of position papers.
- Supporting resource load planning and scheduling
- Assisting project management to develop and enforce lessons learned within the company.

**Collaboration**:

- To assist the lead PC with data that will help the tendering team to come out reasonable outcome.
- Build collaboration with the management as well as internal and external partners.
- Working closely with Project Manager and Planner, as well as Finance
- To support transition the awarded project to the execution team, by understanding the project's tasks, creating the project in the reporting tool, and registering the assigned key personnel.
- Assist in the Risk and opportunities sessions, and reflect the outcome in the risk and opportunity register.
- Supporting contract management and Project manager on claims and change orders and other contractual obligations like bank guarantees.

**Commercial**:

- Maintaining a change register and incorporate approved changes in the project, as well as Support in filing claims, VOs, and dispute resolution.

**Cash**:

- Maintenance of positive project cashflows at all times and alert the team in case of expected dip in the cashflow.
- Preparation of customer invoices and follow up cash collection and maintain a status report for tracking.
- Monitor transactions in foreign currencies and prepare quarterly the Hedge Effectiveness test to support the Project Hedging strategies when applicable.

**General**:

- Liaising with the client, representing Linxon at a high standard
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Contributing to Linxon worldwide development, assisting other regions to build a strong knowledge networking.

**Experience, Education and other Required**:

- Bachelor's Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting
- 3-5 years' experience as a project controller in a contracting environment, or Industrial / Construction projects
- Good knowledge in budgeting, Cash Calls, cost allocations, project economics and other finance processes.
- Experienced in budget allocation and establishing Cost Baselines
- Knowledge of Procurement follow-up/cost analysis & BOQ Analysis.
- Detailed oriented and good with numbers
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Awareness of time-related analysis.
- Excellent computer literacy with experience in Planning and Cost control Standard tools and software, as well as Excel
