- This position involves working within the MEP Team at XS CAD’s Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including 3D spatial MEP coordinators, 3D MEP modellers and BIM designers with varied experience. The BIM Designer will be responsible for the overall MEP design and BIM modelling deliverables, working directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- At least 3+ years of experience in electrical domain
- Create accurate and detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and schedules using Revit and other drafting software
- Design and detail electrical installations, including conduit routing, cable tray layouts, and device mounting
- Prepare electrical layouts, wiring diagrams and control diagrams for electrical systems
- Independently carry out accurate Revit MEP coordination for rooms, corridors, risers, plant areas, electrical room, transformer room etc.
- Collaborate with project engineers and designers to ensure accurate and coordinated designs
- Learn how to model other MEP services
- Work closely with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical, plumbing) to ensure coordinated design efforts

- Learn and implement various services standards and building codes
- Understand various MEP drawings/ plans/ sections
- Work with the team to deliver detailed MEP coordination models/drawings within the allotted time frames and of the required quality
- Sound knowledge of various aspects of building services, including HVAC, mechanical pipework for heating/cooling, domestic water supplies, gases, sprinklers and drainage systems
- Create detailed MEP services, modelling and coordination using Revit MEP

**Qualification & Experience Required**:

- ITI/NCTVT certified HVAC/electrical/plumbing draftsman with relevant experience
