Retail Salesperson

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer customer inquiries about products, availability, and pricing
- Provide recommendations and guidance based on customer needs and preferences
- **Product Knowledge**:

- Maintain a thorough understanding of all products in the department store
- Stay updated on new products, features, and promotions
- Educate customers about product benefits and usage
- **Sales**:

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing
- **Store Operations**:

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with setting up displays and promotional materials
- Follow store policies and procedures, including security and safety protocols
- **Continuous Learning**:

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences
- Actively seek feedback and opportunities for improvement

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Retail Salesman or in a similar customer service role
- Languages Required
- English, Hindi & Punjabi
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent product knowledge and a willingness to learn new things
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset
- Graduation/High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail or sales is a plus.
