As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing support in estimating costs, managing contracts, and monitoring expenses. You will work closely with senior members of the quantity surveying team to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities**:

- Cost Estimation: Assist in the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering all relevant factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Tender Analysis: Evaluate and analyze tender documents, including bills of quantities, to identify any discrepancies or potential risks.
- Contracts Management: Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
- Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing regular reports on cost variations and recommending corrective actions if necessary.
- Quantity Takeoffs: Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by preparing material and subcontractor inquiries, evaluating quotations, and making recommendations.
- Variation Assessments: Assess variations and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and agreement with stakeholders.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project budgets and timelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
