8 - 12 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting (BCBS239 preferred), with good understanding of risk policies and framework, and controls assessment and testing. Experience in Quality Assurance is a plus.- The role entails supporting the quality assurance teams of global banks in designing and implementing processes and procedures for regulatory reporting data aggregation testing
- Understand bank’s existing risk framework, policies, and systems/tools to align risk regulatory reporting policies and processes to Enterprise-wide frameworks/policies
- Validate and assess regulatory reporting data quality
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to research and identify anomalies and patterns within reporting data
- Experience in understanding how transaction data comes together, check in controls for procedures, including gap assessment and remediation of control gaps
- Assess controls testing undertaken and also arrive at the impact on reporting timelines and accuracies due to failures
- Variance analysis for ageing
- Test data quality and population control where possible and providing impact estimates of any issues identified
- Writing and presenting detailed reports of findings to senior management, including background into the requirements and recommendations on resolution
- The role will require assisting banks with setting up quality assurance, so deep technical understanding of credit risk reg reporting and elements that require controls will be needed
- Strong understanding across regulatory requirements such as BCBS239, Basel, COREP, Pillar III, CRR, and CRD will support delivery
- Liase with client’s operations team to understand the delivery requirements at every stage as well as for any ambiguity in client instruction
