Job Description Purpose:quality assurance (QA) Manager to ensure patient safety and high-quality care by developing standards, conducting audits, and monitoring processes to prevent errors and improve patient outcomes. Key Role: creating quality policies, enhance system reliability preventing failures, diligently follow stronger regulatory compliance actions, analyzing data, training staff, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, patient care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Educational Qualifications Graduate in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or relevant discipline Minimum 5-7 years work experience as Quality Assurance in a NABH Accredited Hospital Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent knowledge of NABH standards and Hospital operations Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary as per the industry standards Opportunity for professional growth Supportive work environment Key Responsibilities: Developing Quality Standards: Establishing guidelines and metrics that define what constitutes acceptable and effective care BY Implementing and monitoring hospital-wide quality management systems and policies. Regulatory Compliance: Staying updated on healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and implementing processes to ensure the organization adheres to all applicable laws and standards. Conduct periodic audits, data analysis, and gap assessments for compliance. Auditing and Monitoring: Regularly reviewing healthcare processes, documents, and patient data to identify problems and areas for improvement. Maintain comprehensive records of audits, findings, and compliance achievements. Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing performance data to identify trends, detect errors, and inform decisions for improvement initiatives Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements to hospital processes. Staff Training and Education: Educating and mentoring healthcare staff on quality assurance practices, new policies, and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to standards. Conduct and participate in staff training, awareness programs, and mock drills as per regulatory norms. Process Improvement: Identifying root causes of quality issues and developing and implementing strategies and solutions to enhance patient care and patient safety. Support the preparation and updating of SOPs and quality documents as per NABH standards. Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities in systems or processes and implementing mitigation strategies. Collaboration: Working with various departments and stakeholders to address and resolve quality concerns and drive positive corrective changes throughout the organization. MRD: To monitor and manage Medical Records Department (MRD) and organizes patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include collecting, coding, storing, and retrieving medical records; maintaining their accuracy and completeness; facilitating data access for authorized personnel; and ensuring data security and confidentiality. The MRD's work supports better patient care, legal requirements, research, and hospital administration.
