Skill-ed Student Mobilizer

Skill-Ed provides skills training on different Technological/Non-Technological trades for economic empowerment to marginalized youth. The training is imparted in various locations PAN India particularly in Tamil Nadu. Training is provided by qualified and experienced trainers and the training is free of cost for the Economically Weaker students. The training also includes soft skills training to build confidence and entrepreneurship skills. The youth are supported for job placements as well.

The responsibilities of this role includes mobilization of the students for the courses of skill-ed program, scheduling the volunteer engagement sessions and career guidance awareness sessions, student enrolment data collection and updation in the tool.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with the College **HODs, Placement officers **& **Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)** through constant interaction as a part of planning & implementation of Skill training.
- Build and maintain good rapport and make follow-up calls to the Colleges and other partners to achieve the planned target.
- Ready to do local travel and other parts of TN and other regions (North,West & East) on a need basis.
- To plan batches of the students who registered for online sessions and mapping them to the training partner on a regular basis.
- Be responsible for the Implementation of monthly plans for all budgeted activities.
- Collaborate with other teams as and when required in achieving the goals.
- Able to do need analysis to map the skills training through surveys, community meetings and home visits etc. and ensure that trainees are able to complete the training.
- Identify the beneficiaries, collect the necessary documents, whatsApp group formation and enroll them for skills training.
- Ensure regular entries in the dashboard and maintain the MIS dashboard with current status.
- Follow up with trainees after the training for six months to get details of their current job with income and provide required assistance if required.
- Regular planning, reporting, and maintaining MIS and documentation.

**Key Result Areas**:

- Ensure 100% enrolment against the target assigned per month, quarter and annual goals.
- Ensure batch inception meets the batch target count.
- Ensure 100% students training / monitoring & follow up.

**Skills Required**:

- Networking - find out & establish contact with local Communities, Colleges, NGOs & other Partnerships.
- Able to do house visits and good reachability in the community.
- Written and oral communication in Tamil and English. Hindi will be an added advantage..
- Ability to engage with daily wagers and college dropouts & slum youths.
- Basic Idea of Qualitative and Quantitative research methodologies.
- Flexibility & Positive thoughts - keen to learn new things.

**Education Qualification / Experience**:

- MSW / MBA from a recognized university with 1-3 years of relevant experience

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
