Design and analysis of Client Umbilicals/Risers/Flowlines in accordance with the industry standards and procedures.

The scope includes in-place and installation analysis of Client Umbilicals/Risers.

It also includes preparation technical reports/memo, presentations, performing quality checks, and ensuring on-time delivery

**About Role**:

- Design and FEED studies.
- SURF detailed engineering packages.
- Independent design verification analysis.
- Expertise in hydrodynamics, vortex induced vibrations, structure in any type of riser/umbilical systems.
- Interface with subsea equipment.
- Expertise and analysis for installation of pipelines, risers/umbilicals and subsea equipment.
- Research and development projects and JIPs.

**Key Responsibilties / What We Expect**:

- Work in accordance with Company HSE, Quality Standards, Regulations and deliveries in expected quality.
- Be responsible for the technical execution of her/his professional area.
- Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations:

- Numerical modelling of subsea structures based on hydrodynamic software (OrcaFlex, DeepLines, Diodore)
- Subsea riser and umbilical design based on oil & gas standards: API, ABS, DNV, BV, etc.
- Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent.

**Functional Skills / Key competencies**
- Good knowledge of international standards: API, ABS, DNV, BV, etc.
- Preferably gained experience as design engineers/consultants or installation contractors.
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and structural mechanics.
- Competent in use of relevant codes and software: Diodore, Deeplines, OrcaFlex, Shear.
- Other skills (not mandatory) Python scripting, Excel VBA, CAD modelling - Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a clear asset
