- Position reports to- DGM - Rail Ops- Direct reports- DGM - Rail Ops- ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary position

Objectives
- To achieve faster turnaround of rake & containers
- Ensuring proper documentation related to s/line, customs, and Railways
- To ensure compliance related to customs & railways.
- Ensuring Proper Customer Correspondence and relationship

Ensuring Operational KPIs are achieved.

- Inter/Intra/External dept communication and relationships
- Key responsibilities- Providing Rail planning to Indian Railway / Head Office daily basis at 0630 hrs.
- Checks import forecast with line on day-to-day basis and same update to our office.
- Regular follow up with line office/surveyor for SMTP (ready) and if ready then collects from their office and update in our system (Excel, RFS)
- Proper updating of SMTP received from shipping agents.
- Checks with our Carrier Bond amount and match with customs EDI system (Credit/Debit) after updating of SMTP
- Must circulate the backload plan to terminal, before train reaches to Ahmadabad
- Responsible 24x7 for taking follow up of train operation
- Continues follow up with terminal after train placement for unloading containers and after unloading give backload information to railway for approval
- Must update train details in Railway FOIS system with 2hrs of completion for RR (Rail Receipt) generate
- Facilitating Rail Placement, Rail Loading & Discharge operations and Rail Removal for achievement of optimum rail productivity levels and reliability of service to customers.
- Contribution in fulfillment and compliance of DP World Legal / statutory and operational requirements.
- Team building
- Contributing to continuous improvement.
- Contributing for the meeting of Business/Operational targets and objectives.
- Proper Updating and database management on Rail operations front.
- Adherence to policies and procedures of the department.
- Ensuring Custom formalities and custodianship is maintained.
- Ensuring safe and correct working practices.
- Timelines set up are achieved.
- Limits of authority- Rail Operational Procedure
- Safety Procedure.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Graduation
- Good interpersonal skills / etiquettes for effective and efficient communication.
