Instructional Designer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to oversee the instructional design team and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for designated projects. In this role, you will monitor the work of junior instructional designers, ensure the quality of the final deliverables, and be responsible for reviewing, refining, and approving all content before submission. As the SPOC for your project, you will liaise with stakeholders, content writers, and the project management team to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Team Leadership & Mentorship**:
Supervise and mentor a team of instructional designers, providing guidance on best practices and project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring the instructional design team meets milestones and deadlines.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and provide solutions.

**2. Final Review & Approval of Storyboards**:

- Conduct thorough reviews of storyboards and learning materials produced by the instructional design team, ensuring they align with project objectives, instructional design principles, and client expectations.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and free of errors before final approval. o Provide feedback and revisions to instructional designers and collaborate with them to refine deliverables.

**3. Project SPOC (Single Point of Contact)**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned project, coordinating communication between internal teams, clients, content writers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all project stakeholders are aligned on learning objectives, project timelines, and deliverables.
- Address client concerns, manage feedback, and implement necessary changes based on discussions with stakeholders.

**4. Instructional Design & Content Development**:

- Develop complex and high-impact learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning experiences.
- Ensure content incorporates interactivity, assessments, and multimedia elements as needed.

**5. Quality Control & Process Improvement**:

- Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in instructional design output.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in the design process and suggest improvements for better team performance.
- Establish clear documentation, templates, and guidelines for the instructional design team to follow.

**6. Collaboration with content writers and Stakeholders**:

- Collaborate with content writers to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and engaging for the target audience.
- Organize and lead client and SME meetings, ensuring all aspects of the learning material are aligned with expectations.
- Manage stakeholder feedback, ensuring it is incorporated into deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.

**7. Project Reporting & Updates**:

- Provide regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain accurate records of deliverables, timelines, and project updates.

**Key Requirements**:
**1. Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. o Additional certifications in instructional design or project management are a plus.

**2. Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale learning projects from start to finish.

**3. Instructional Design Expertise**:

- Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
- Ability to create and review content that aligns with learning objectives and engages a diverse audience.
