This is a Operations/Supply Planner role, reporting to Plant Manager in Motion division located in Bangalore. Communicate effectively in the team to play a central role of Production planning, scheduling and execution for a Superior Customer Experience while efficiently execute internal processes.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Overseeing Daily order fulfillment activities.
- Records and tracks production progress daily and makes schedule adjustments and supply adjustments, as needed.
- Conduct daily meetings to keep track of planning & production schedules.
- Identify bottlenecks and ensure proper utilization of all resources to achieve operational targets.
- Creates Packaging production schedule and prioritizes of job-orders for production optimization and on time shipment.
- Co-ordination with Order Handling for understanding of demand and scoping monthly Production Plan and Purchasing Plans.
- Identify long lead items and critical path for effective execution of production plan and material procurement plans to meet on time delivery while controlling manufacturing costs.
- Co-ordinate periodically with design to track BOM release / changes and ensure it is translated to production plans and procurement during execution.
- Oversee execution, material Planning and capacity for sub-contracting processes and activities.
- Fine tune High level planning with weekly execution plans considering various supply chain and production requirements and constraints.
- Lead projects for inventory optimization, removal of production and procurement bottlenecks to improve plant performance, delivery, capacity, and productivity.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of Induction motor / generator manufacturing industry.
- Relevant experience in related industry - 8-10 years.
- Demonstrated ability in Leading small team of material planner / buyer / scheduler.
- Flexible, self-motivated individual with a positive and proactive approach and strong customer service ethic.
- Detail orientated and data focused.
