**Job Description - Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Helper Position**

**Department**: Production / Fabrication /

**Location**: Ekkattuthangal, Chennai

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Mechanical Technician**:

- Perform installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical components and machinery.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service mechanical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and testing of parts and assemblies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
- **Mechanical Helper**:

- Assist technicians and operators in daily workshop activities.
- Carry out material handling, loading/unloading, and basic tasks under supervision.
- Support fabrication and machine operations with basic preparations.
- Follow safety standards and ensure a clean and organized work environment.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, machine operation, or sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of workshop tools, fabrication machines, and mechanical equipment.
- Good physical stamina and safety awareness.
- Team player with the ability to work under mínimal supervision.
