Job Description – Mechanical Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions on pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and rotating equipment.
  • Assist in routine preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Support commissioning and testing of mechanical systems as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician (Gulf experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and safety awareness.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair sensors, transmitters, PLCs, controllers, and other field instruments.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance for instrumentation systems.
  • Read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and loop checking of instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician (Gulf experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, calibration tools, and PLC/DCS basics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
