**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain our MySQL databases, ensuring their availability, reliability, and performance.
- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, monitoring resource usage, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Implement best practices for data backup and recovery, including disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor database activity to detect and resolve performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and other problems.
- Design and implement database schema changes and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation on database configuration, usage, and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the performance and scalability of our database infrastructure.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL database architecture, design, and administration.
- Strong experience in database performance tuning and optimization.

Experience with database backup and recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Knowledge of database security and best practices for data protection.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as SQL for MIS Reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
