**JOB DESCRIPTION | TOUR RESERVATIONS Executive (MUMBAI)**

Job Title: Tour Reservations Executive (Mumbai)

Reports to: Reservation Manager

Position: Full-time

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Dharavi, Mumbai

**ORGANISATION PROFILE**

Reality Tours and Travel (RTT) is one half of a dynamic social enterprise that aims to raise awareness and resources to address social issues facing disadvantaged communities. The organisation is most well-known for its slum tours of Mumbai and Delhi, which highlight the small-scale industries and community spirit in its residential areas and dispel myths about the realities of urban slum life.

80% of the profits from the tours go to support the social work undertaken by its sister organisation Reality Gives - our NGO that runs and supports educational and other projects to improve the lives of our communities.

RTT is now looking to recruit new members of staff to consolidate and expand its operations.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

You need to bring a sense of passion and enjoyment to your work and be able to work well with people of all backgrounds.

The role is a long-term, salaried position.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Reception Centre o Putting together budgets and customised itineraries/quotations for clients o Making bookings with suppliers (hotel, transportation, meals, activities) o Making payments to all suppliers and maintain accounting records including all invoices for the payments done o Negotiating prices, terms and conditions with suppliers (hotel, transportation, meals, activities), and speaking to them if any problems o Researching new suppliers (hotel, transportation, meals, activities) and updating company database

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- You have minimum 2 years’ experience in reservations in the tourism industry o You have good communication skills o You have good knowledge about various cities and small towns in India o You have strong attention to detail and you aspire to high standards o You are happy to do tasks that aren’t always strictly in line with your Job Description

**COMPENSATION**
INR 25,000 to 30,000 CTC dependent on qualifications and experience.
