Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Chinniyampalayam, Irugur, Coimbatore

Department: Logistics / Warehouse / Production Reporting to: Warehouse Manager / Shift In-charge

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift (counterbalance/reach truck/pallet truck) safely and efficiently as per SOPs.Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.

Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas.

Stack and organize materials in the warehouse according to company procedures.

Conduct daily inspection and routine maintenance checks of forklift equipment.

Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage to goods and equipment.

Report any mechanical issues or damage to equipment immediately.

Assist in inventory counts and material reconciliation activities.

Coordinate with warehouse, production, and dispatch teams for material movement.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned work area.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing/warehouse setup.

Valid forklift operating license (mandatory).

Knowledge of safe driving practices and equipment handling.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Basic understanding of inventory processes is a plus.

Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate weights.

Willingness to work in shifts, including overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a manufacturing industry or Warehouse preferred.
