**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Inventory Management**:

- Assist in receiving and recording fabric deliveries, ensuring quantities match purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update fabric stock levels regularly.
- **Organization and Storage**:

- Organize fabric rolls and materials in the storage area for easy access and retrieval.
- Ensure that fabrics are stored properly to prevent damage and maintain quality.
- **Quality Control Assistance**:

- Support the fabric in-charge or quality team in conducting inspections of incoming fabrics for defects, color accuracy, and quality.
- Document and report any fabric issues or discrepancies found during inspection.
- **Fabric Preparation for Production**:

- Prepare and issue fabrics to the production team according to cutting and sewing requirements.
- Ensure that the right type and amount of fabric are supplied on time to prevent production delays.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain records of fabric received, issued, and returned, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports and stock summaries for the fabric in-charge or management team.
- **Support in Fabric Testing**:

- Assist in basic fabric tests as required (e.g., shrinkage, colorfastness) and record results.
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure fabrics meet production specifications.
- **Coordination with Procurement and Suppliers**:

- Work with procurement teams to track fabric orders and follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules.
- Communicate with suppliers for any issues related to fabric quality or order discrepancies.

**Essential Skills**:

- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in managing fabric inventory and identifying quality issues.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to keep the fabric storage area tidy and efficiently manage fabric allocation.
- **Basic Knowledge of Fabrics**: Understanding different types of fabrics, their properties, and uses in garment production.
- **Communication**: Good verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with the production team and suppliers.
- **Record-Keeping**: Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of fabric transactions.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and support the fabric in-charge.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in a fabric or materials handling role within the garment industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
