**Job Title**: Rubrik Backup Administrator

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure, manage, and optimize **Rubrik backup and recovery operations** across virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Design and maintain backup strategies for **AWS, Azure, GCP**, and **VAST Storage**.
- Evaluate Rubrik deployments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate Rubrik with SIEM, CMDB, and orchestration tools.
- Conduct **risk assessments**, audits, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection frameworks (**GDPR, HIPAA, DORA**).
- Lead **knowledge-sharing sessions**, technical documentation, and best practice implementations.
- Manage and troubleshoot **O365 backups** (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
- Monitor and report on backup performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT, cloud, and storage teams for seamless system integration.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong hands-on experience in **Rubrik** (primary skill).
- Solid understanding of **VAST Storage** and **Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)** environments.
- In-depth knowledge of **enterprise backup architectures** and **cloud-native disaster recovery**.
- Experience managing **data protection compliance frameworks**.
- Proficiency in documenting and communicating technical processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with **Disaster Recovery and Continuity Planning**.
- Familiarity with **backup and recovery automation**.
- Ability to provide **training and mentorship** to junior team members.
