**SAP Basis Administrator**

**Job summary**

**Competency**

1. Installation & Maintenance of Windows OS & LINUX

2. Basic Understanding of SAP NetWeaver, ECC Architectures

4. SAP Client Administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client)

5. Design and implement an Optimal SAP configuration to maximise System Performance and availability

6. SAP Web Dispatcher Installation and Configuration

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Manage SAP users, authorisations, and profiles

2. Monitor all SAP systems

3. Develop and Maintain System Documentation for all SAP Systems

4. Plan & Implement, Scheduled SAP Systems Backup & Restore Procedures With documentation.

5. SAP System Maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a Structured Methodology.

6. Installation, Configuration of SAP GUI and Troubleshooting

7.Manage overall OS Space and Disk management

8. OS level Backup & Recovery Operations

9. OS level Security and Patch Monitoring and Management

10. Weekly Transports Backup's for all SAP Systems.
