**Academic Coordinator Role**:
The Academic Coordinator is responsible for delivering an efficient and effective academic support service. They will ensure the smooth running of academic processes, activities and operations. They will provide support to staff, students and other stakeholders in the development, implementation and evaluation of academic program's. This will involve liaising with external organizations and managing resources, as well as providing advice and guidance to students.

**Academic Coordinator Duties**:

- Organize and coordinate academic activities
- Develop and maintain academic policies
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance
- Provide guidance and support to students
- Assist with the recruitment and selection of staff
- Liaise with external organizations and stakeholders
- Manage orientation, training and relocation for new faculties.
- Provide support and guidance to academic trainees.
- Collaborate with faculty to conduct new student workshops.
- Assist in selecting right student leaders.
- Assist in selecting right student leaders.
- Assist in managing schedule, student payroll, rooms and instructional supplies for workshops and other study programs.
- Develop and manage comprehensive academic support program.
- Provide guidance to students on academic goals and educational issues.
- Assist students on course selection, study habits and career selection.
- Prepare and maintain student records according to district policies and administrative regulations.
- Work with parents, teachers and counselors to address students’ behavioral, academic, and other problems.
- Assist in updating lesson content and instruction methodology.
- Assist in development of training modules and programs.
- Coordinate with teachers and center coordinators to develop lesson plans and materials.

**Academic Coordinator Requirements**
- Excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Cambridge & check points Experience is mandatory.

**Qualification**:

- B.Ed is mandatory & CIDTL/CICTL is added advantage.
- Relevant experience as Academic coordinator in Cambridge curriculum is mandatory
