Verbsz Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking to hire a highly creative and enthusiastic Junior UI/UX Associate to join our growing team and design user interface and enable better user experiences.
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining existing WordPress sites - backups, core updates, plugin updates, bug fixes, etc. and making improvements where needed (optimization, refactoring, etc.)
- Designing and implementing new feature and functionality requests based on client and team collaboration
- Collaborating on new projects to formulate project requirements and supporting criteria
- Monitoring and maintaining a project tracker that requires daily attention and follow-up
- Conducting usability studies, preparing for and administering user research and testing on existing and new products
- Attending client calls and workshops to assist with requirement gathering
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, workflows and other visual collateral to help drive the design process
- Identifying and coordinating opportunities to collaborate with web development and design teams so that technical limitations are considered early in the design process
- Acting as a consultant with a client service approach to internal teams and external stakeholders

**Professional Skills & Qualifications**:

- Solid understanding and working knowledge of WordPress architecture
- 3rd-party API integration
- Strong working knowledge and use of Responsive Web Design and UX design principles and best practices
- Wireframing & Mock-up creation
- Proficiency with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.)
- Demonstrable knowledge of UX best practices and a natural curiosity for visual design and research
- Self-starter that can easily assess where help is needed without needing prescriptive instruction and can effectively manage their time in deadline driven schedules
- Ability to communicate well with team members, internal stakeholders and clients
- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with design thinking methodology - empathizing with users, defining requirements, conducting ideation workshops, creating prototypes and performing usability testing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - a true storyteller at heart
- Ability to prioritize tasks and interpret directions
- Positive attitude and learning mindset
- Works effectively on a team in-person and remotely
- BA/BS degree in Human Centered Design, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design or a related field preferred (former job experience within web/mobile design or software industry will also suffice)
