Production Supervisor

**Supervisor - Machine section**
- To Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- To plan & issue route cards as per machine wise.
- To monitor activities as per daily meetings and address to plan on priority basis for the urgent requirement of marketing.
- To see that men & machines are utilized efficiently.
- To arrange material to operators for performing the work without any interruption.
- To coordinate with QC for inspection purpose.
- To provide drawings as per work plan and to see that no operation is carried out without drawing.
- To explain the method of work to operators and do machine setting if required.
- To monitor the work of contract workers and helpers.
- To make arrangement of cutting tools.
- To provide tool kits to the required and verify them frequently.
- To monitor and verify time line of works and record in their daily work sheets.
- To ensure safety related equipment's are used. To hold the workers without uniform & shoe.
- To provide proper training to new employee.
- To Keep & monitor records of employees' attendance, hours worked and over time
- Monthly evaluating operator performance and inform to HR thru designated format.
- To provide identification and traceability for the parts and up keep the neatness in the shop floor.
- To monitors the daily machine maintenance is carried out by the operator.
- To act on the JDR’S raised by QC and initiate corrective actions within stipulated time.
- Man-power planning in case of workers absenteeism.
- Any other work from time to time assigned by the MD / Director.

- Has the authority to control workmen working under him.
- Has the authority to take appropriate actions on slow performers and

in disciplined personal.

**Supervisor - Assembly section.**

**Responsibilities**:

- To plan and organize total assembly and painting activities.
- To plan & issue route cards as per assembly requirements.
- To monitor activities as per daily meetings and address to plan on priority basis for the urgent requirement of marketing.
- To ensure assembly schedules are attained daily while meeting safety, cost and quality objectives.
- To arrange material for assembly section and painting section as per B.O.M.
- To raise material requisition in prior and submit to store.
- To ensure maximum utilization of man power.
- To enforce organizational requirements and motivate work force in improving productivity.
- To resolve technical issues and give clarifications for the queries raised by assembly personal.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.
- Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results.
- To plan for shift based working if situation demands.
- To keep stock for additional machines for demo purpose to customers who visit plant.
- To plan for reduction of time and process by initiating good manufacturing process.
- Take care of O.T. and attendance entry of the workers. Submit the attendance to the HR-dept daily.
- Monthly evaluating assembly personal performance and inform to HR thru designated format.
- To provide identification and traceability for the parts and up keep the neatness in the shop floor.
- To act on the JDR’S raised by QC and initiate corrective actions with in stipulated time.
- To submit daily work report before signing off.
- Any other work from time to time assigned by the MD / Director.

**Supervisor - Fabrication section.**

**Responsibilities**:

- To plan and organize total Fabrication section and to establish work assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- To plan & issue route cards as per fabrication requirements.
- To monitor activities as per daily meetings and address to plan on priority basis for the urgent requirement of marketing.
- To ensure fabrication schedules are attained daily while meeting safety, cost and quality objectives.
- To arrange material to work men for enable work as per plan.
- To raise material requisition in prior and submit to store.
- To ensure maximum utilization of man power.
- To enforce organizational requirements and motivate work force in improving productivity.
- To resolve technical issues and give clarifications for the queries raised by fabrication personal.
- To Set up fabricating machines, such as bending machines, rolls, shearing machines, flame cutters and presses
- To ensure the welding procedure is carried out as per requirement.
- To ensure the welding machines are in good condition.
- To verify the welding done and instruct them for good quality job.
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or a
