Position Details
- **Role**: Music Teacher (English & Western)
- **Location**: Navdeep Public School, Kollam, Kerala
- **Type**: Full-Time

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach vocal and instrumental music with emphasis on **Western and English music styles** (choir, band, classical, and contemporary).
- Train students for **annual day, inter-school competitions, choir, and cultural programmes**.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans for classes ranging from **Play Class to XII**.
- Introduce students to **Western notation, harmony, rhythm, and performance techniques**.
- Guide students in both **solo and group performances**, building confidence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with teachers for integrated arts-based learning.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Music or equivalent certification.
- Formal training in **Western/English music** (voice or instruments).
- Ability to play **piano/keyboard or guitar** is highly preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in schools will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills in **English**.
