Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the warehouse and Logistics department. Their primary responsibility is to lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products/ Medical Devices.

**Job Description**:
i. Team Leadership:

- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development within the warehouse team.

ii. Inventory Management:

- Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels of products and raw materials.
- Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock movements and minimize discrepancies.

iii. Order Processing:

- Coordinate and manage the receipt, picking, packing, and transportation of products according to production schedules and customer orders.

iv. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements related to warehousing and storage of Medical devices.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

v. Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with the Quality Control department to conduct periodic quality checks and audits of warehouse processes to maintain product integrity.

vi. Performance Evaluation:

- Conduct performance evaluations of warehouse staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.

vii. Process Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancement.
- Implement improvements to streamline warehouse operations and reduce lead times.

Viii. Equipment Maintenance:

- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and material handling systems.

ix. Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse activities, utilizing appropriate documentation and reporting tools in line with Drugs and Cosmetic Act 1940 and Rules 1945 and Medical Device Rules 2017.

x. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, including Production, Quality Control, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication in the supply chain.
