- Creatingself-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Ensuringa clear dependency chain, in regard to the app logic as well as the file system
- Abilityto provide SEO solutions for single page apps
- Extensiveknowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects andkeeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
- Thoroughunderstanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, cachinglayer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Validatinguser actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
- Writingnon-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such asmulti-threading, when needed
- Creatingcustom, general use modules and components which extend the elements andmodules of core AngularJS
- Experiencewith all levels of operation available to the front-end, such as from creatingXHRs in vanilla JS to using a custom wrapper around $resource
- Experiencewith building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets
- Architectingand automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts
- Documentingthe code inline using JSDoc or other convention
- Writingextensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
- Creatinge2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or awell-reasoned alternative)
- Creatingconfiguration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
