About the Role

We're looking for a forward-thinking **AI-Native SEO & Content Strategist** who’s obsessed with not just ranking on Google — but being found, cited, and surfaced on **AI-first search interfaces** like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and the future of conversational search.

You’ll drive the entire organic strategy across **two growing brands** — a creative tech agency and a SaaS platform — using the **latest AI tools**, structured data, and multi-format content strategies.

What You'll Do

SEO & AI Discovery Optimization
- Optimize our visibility on **AI-powered search engines** (ChatGPT browsing, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini)
- Build **E-E-A-T-driven content clusters**, pillar pages, and topical authority across both sites
- Implement structured data (JSON-LD) for rich snippets, VideoObject, FAQ, and SoftwareApplication schemas
- Monitor rankings, crawl health, AI citation frequency, and traffic via Search Console & AI monitoring tools

Content Strategy & Production
- Lead the planning and production of long-form, short-form, and multimodal content:

- Blog posts, comparison pages, case studies, video scripts, developer documentation
- Conversational Q&A formats tailored for AI tools and zero-click search
- Use tools like **ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Frase, NeuronWriter, Jasper, Claude** to accelerate content creation
- Coordinate with internal designers and video editors for **YouTube Shorts**, explainers, and infographics

Performance & Insights
- Set clear OKRs: Rankings, citations in AI tools, backlinks, impressions, and leads from organic sources
- Use AI dashboards and SEO suites (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, GSC, Perplexity Index, SEOlytics)
- Track our presence and positioning in conversational responses and AI-generated summaries

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in **SEO**, with proven success in both technical and content SEO
- Experience optimizing for **AI search tools** (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) or strong desire to lead in this space
- Familiarity with **JSON-LD, schema.org**, Core Web Vitals, and on-page SEO best practices
- Comfortable using **AI tools** to scale ideation, writing, and testing (e.g., GPT, Claude, Jasper, Surfer)
- Strong grasp of **E-E-A-T**, zero-click SEO, voice search, and content structuring
- Bonus: background in **B2B SaaS, software agencies, developer content**, or UX/UI

- **Collaboration**: Notion, Slack, Loom, Figma (for content planning)
