Role**:Apparel Designer**

**About The Job**

We are looking for a Fashion Designer to join our team and oversee the research and production of new clothing lines based on current trends in the market. Fashion Designer responsibilities include to research and analyzing market data to determine fashion trends. Ultimately, work with a team of overseas Designers to create exciting clothing products based on seasonal trends.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Fashion / Apparel designing master’s degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with Factories and internal team
- 10+yrs of Experience in Garment development in Sourcing, Buying Organizations.

**Core Competencies-**
- Illustration.
- Trend analysis skills for various Buyers and various geographies.
- Creating Mood boards.
- Techpack creations.
- Well versed in International Womenwear and Menwear silhouettes

**Responsibilities**
- Creating and visualizing ideas for new trends, researching online / WGSN forecasting.
- Would conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. Selecting fabrics and trims.
- Creating silhouette sketches for development packages.
- Collaborating with overseas buyers and suppliers’ team to get feedback on seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts aligned with company business strategy.
- Collaborating with technical team to ensure development packages are accurate and Reviewing product for style and fit during developments. Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.
