**Job Title: Apparel Designer - Ethnic & Western Co-Ord Sets**
**Location**: Remote / Delhi preferred (hybrid)
**Salary**: ₹30,000-₹40,000 per month (based on experience)
**Type**: Full-time / Contractual (with potential for long-term)

**About the Brand - Mayborn**

Mayborn is a contemporary co-ord set label blending Western design sensibilities with Indian heritage and modest aesthetics. Our collections are rooted in comfort, print-play, and silhouette simplicity — bridging cultures without compromising style.

We’re currently building our debut drop and are looking for a creative, detail-driven apparel designer to help shape this vision.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design seasonal collections of co-ord sets across:

- Ethnic-wear: kurta sets, peplum + sharara, angarakha wrap styles
- Western-wear: crop shirts, wide-leg pants, kimono jackets, and structured co-ords
- Collaborate with the founder on design direction, concept development, and lookbooks
- Create detailed technical sketches, flats, and tech packs
- Select appropriate prints, color palettes, fabrics, and trims
- Source or recommend cost-effective, breathable, and sustainable fabrics (cotton, rayon, muslin, etc.)
- Liaise with pattern masters and sampling units to develop production-ready samples
- Iterate designs based on feedback while focusing on fit, modesty, and functionality
- Monitor fashion trends, emerging silhouettes, and consumer behavior to influence designs
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in women's apparel design (freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome)
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design tools
- Understanding of both traditional Indian garment styles and modern western tailoring
- Strong eye for detail in print coordination, color theory, and silhouette balance
- Passionate about wearable, functional fashion that merges tradition with trend
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
