**Responsibilities;**
- Design and implement robust, scalable data architecture solutions using Snowflake.
- Lead the migration of existing data systems to Snowflake, ensuring mínimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Develop and enforce data modeling standards and best practices for Snowflake environments.
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to integrate Snowflake with other data systems and tools.
- Oversee the performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake instances.
- Implement data security and governance practices within Snowflake, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data teams in Snowflake best practices.
- Stay current with the latest developments and features in Snowflake and related technologies, continually enhancing our data capabilities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions in Snowflake.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables related to Snowflake implementations and upgrades

**Competencies**:

- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data modelling, and SQL.
- Proven experience in migrating to and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how they integrate with Snowflake.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools, and how they work in conjunction with Snowflake.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
