**Primary purpose**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the sheet metal fabrication and assembly workshop.
- Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication/assembly plans to allocate jobs to teams.
- Ensure jobs are executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and production timelines.
- Plan manpower and resources effectively to meet daily production targets.
- Monitor and improve workflow, efficiency, and productivity across the shop floor.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Guide and mentor fabrication and assembly teams; conduct on-the-job training as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication, fit-up, welding, or assembly.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material usage.
- Liaise with planning, design, quality, and procurement departments for seamless execution.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop for better performance and cost efficiency.

**Review System**:

- Weekly review with reporting manager on day-to day activities and updates
- Quarterly review on performance and knowledge sharing by RM
- Annual review by Management

**Qualification Requirements**
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
- 8-10 years of experience in supervising **sheet metal fabrication and assembly operations**.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (shearing, bending, punching, welding, grinding, etc.).
- Familiarity with a wide range of tools, machines, and welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Experience in handling various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Working knowledge of production planning software and basic MS Office tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
