1. **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with **local, national, and international safety regulations** (e.g., OSHA, IMO, ISPS Code).
- Conduct **regular inspections and audits** to ensure all logistics operations at the port comply with HSE policies.

2. **Risk Assessment and Hazard Management**
- Identify potential hazards related to cargo handling, storage, and transport.
- Conduct **risk assessments** and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.
- Maintain and update the **Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA)** documentation.

3. **Safety Training and Induction**
- Develop and deliver **safety training programs** for logistics staff, port workers, crane operators, forklift drivers, and truckers.
- Conduct **safety inductions** for new employees, contractors, and visitors entering the port.

4. **Incident and Accident Investigation**
- Lead investigations of any **accidents, near misses, or safety breaches** in the port area.
- Prepare detailed **incident reports** and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

5. **Emergency Preparedness and Response**
- Develop and maintain **emergency response plans** for fires, chemical spills, marine incidents, etc.
- Coordinate **drills and simulations** (fire, evacuation, oil spill) in collaboration with port authorities and emergency services.

6. **Coordination with Port Authorities and External Agencies**
- Liaise with **customs, port authority, maritime safety officials**, and other stakeholders on safety issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication for hazardous cargo (IMDG code compliance).

7. **PPE Management and Enforcement**
- Ensure availability and proper use of **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**.
- Monitor and enforce PPE compliance among all personnel on-site.

8. **Traffic and Material Handling Safety**
- Monitor and control **vehicular movement within the port/logistics zone**.
- Ensure safe handling and stacking of cargo (containers, breakbulk, hazardous materials, etc.).

9. **Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of **inspections, audits, incidents, training sessions**, and safety meetings.
- Submit periodic **safety performance reports** to management.

10. **Promoting Safety Culture**
- Encourage a proactive safety culture among all port and logistics staff.
- Conduct **Toolbox Talks**, safety awareness campaigns, and poster drives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
