**Scope/Categories**:

- Role will report to the Agile Center of Excellence Lead within the Digital Technology Solutions organization and role will be an individual contributor.
- Key Interfaces: DTS Leadership, Product Transformation Sponsors, Business Leaders, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Delivery / Scrum teams, Regional & Functional Subject Matter Experts, Product and Agile Coaches
- Travel may include approximately 5-10% of work time.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- You'll coach and facilitate teams in all aspects of Agile mindset and execution. Scope includes jump-starting new teams and on-going coaching for project teams and product teams (scrum, Kanban or hybrid)
- Act as primary coaching resource (**hands-on coaching**) for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Agile teams.
- Provide one on one **coaching to Product Owners** related to product backlog management, release planning, backlog refinement, writing quality user stories, story splitting/breakdown, defining acceptance criteria, sprint planning and user acceptance testing.
- Provide one on one **coaching to Scrum Masters** on how to serve the Scrum team, serve the Product Owner and serve the Organization
- Provide **coaching to teams** in implementing Scrum/Kanban, capacity planning, estimation (including but not limited to story pointing), backlog refinement, measuring velocity and other metrics, improving quality and effectiveness and driving continuous improvement of team performance
- Develop **agile training materials and training modules **for Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Teams and Leadership.
- Deliver **hands-on training** in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools (like Mural, Miro or others) in support of enterprise-wide initiatives for internal agile development paths
- Coordinate and facilitate agile related **communities of practice **activities to drive shared learnings across the enterprise
- Be a part of the Agile Center of Excellence and help _scale _Agile and **roll out best practices** like Agile metrics.
- Work with teams and leaders on **agile maturity/health assessments**, use the outcome as input into improvement plan and coach them to reach desired state.
- ** Influence **leadership and their teams throughout to drive adoption of Agile methods
- ** Inspire and support change** at individual and team level in the adoption and ongoing improvements of effective and scalable agile methods, processes, tools, and metrics.
- Establish Performance **metrics and KPIs** to enable teams to continuously inspect and adapt.
- Provide ideas to IT leadership based upon experience scaling multi team products and or projects (scrum of scrums).
- Work with Agile teams and leaders in resolving **delivery **and** organizational impediments.**:

- Plan and facilitate outcome-oriented** meetings/events/ceremonies** (multi-day Agile workshops, PI/Release planning, Retrospectives, Demos, etc.).
- Cultivate an environment of **transparency, safety, and trust** where problems can be surfaced without fear.
- Encourage collaboration, help teams identify waste and create **self-organizing and empowered teams**

**Key Qualifications and Experiences**:
Basic Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S./M.S. (Advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field
- 12+ years of Professional experience with a minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- 5+ years of working in an Agile Software Delivery Environment
- 3+ years of providing coaching to Agile Teams
- 2+ years of acting as a Scrum Master/Product Owner
- Experience coaching agile teams that are dispersed globally
- Excellent training skills in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools like Mural, Miro or others
- Experience with Agile Life Cycle Management Tools (**JIRA or AzureDevops**)
- Solid virtual meeting facilitation, interpersonal communication, training, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience designing and implementing scrum of scrums for global products with regional delivery
- Expert problem-solving ability and experience leading groups through problem solving methodology

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years Product Management/Product Owner experience
- Experience with DevOps and Platform development
