In order to strengthen our daily operations, we are looking for a new team member for book-keeping and back-office administrative support. Here at SOLX we value team work and being ever changing and growing. We always try to implement new technologies and ideas in order to improve our quality as a flourishing team. You will be working at our office in Kakkanad, Kochi and directly reporting to the GM.
**Overview**:
As part of the administrative team, you will assist the management with accounting and administrative matters.
Your responsibilities will include book-keeping and assisting with human resource activities. This role is intended to improve current financial and administrative processes to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company.
**This is your role at SOLX**:
- Handle book-keeping, filing and daily accounting matters.
- Prepare, issue and manage sales queries and quotations.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor customer accounts and initiate collection efforts.
- Prepare and manage purchase and delivery orders.
- Update projects and maintain the report of materials’ stock, tools and expenses.
- Organise quotations and the time sheet for external labours.
- Handle day-to-day activities related to travel and expenses with record keeping.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
**Along with your good attitude you bring**:
- Experience in book-keeping and accounting is preferred.
- Previous experience in a comparable position in the field of solar energy is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Meticulous with numbers, detail-oriented and precise.
- Possess strong sense of accuracy, ownership and accountability.
- Possess good communication skills, with both written and spoken
English.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
