Etf Capital Market Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
This is a great opportunity to join the growing Exchange Traded Funds team with global exposures as a Capital Markets Specialist. This role is designed for individuals with a strong interest in financial markets, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and capital market operations. You will be an integral part of the Capital Markets team and work closely with team members to support the execution and optimization of ETF trading strategies and contribute to the overall success of the ETF Capital Markets function spread across US, London and Hongkong.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor daily trading activities like liquidity conditions, trading volumes and address any operational issues that may arise.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trade activity, settlements, and operational metrics.
- Work closely with tech partners on the automation projects to optimize the existing deliverables and new projects.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of new trading systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in research of market microstructure, competitor ETFs, and relevant market trends.
- Generate reports on ETF trading performance, including execution metrics, tracking error, and other relevant key performance indicators.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive innovation and efficiency within the ETF Division.
- Work with broader product teams internally and assist in ETF registrations across different regions.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- More than 4 years of experience in Asset Management and Investment banking support
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
- Basic knowledge of ETF mechanics, including the factors that drive ETF pricing, creation/redemption, liquidity and spreads, premiums and discounts, tax efficiency, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong automation skills using VBA, SQL and Python
- Multi-asset knowledge including, equities, fixed income, derivatives (futures, swaps, etc.) and FX.
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Time management skills & ability to multi-task

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- B. Tech degree required. MBA, CFA or equivalent desirable
- Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability and desire to break down complex problems and create effective solution.
- Experience on ETF Product Development and ETF Product Strategy
