**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Statutory Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Monitor changes in statutory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
- Maintain records of all compliance-related documentation, inspections, and audits.
- Coordinate with government agencies and regulatory authorities for approvals and inspections.

**2. Licensing and Registration**:

- Obtain and renew licenses, registrations, and certifications required for healthcare operations (e.g., hospital registration, clinical establishment act compliance).
- Ensure timely renewal of all statutory licenses and avoid lapses.

**3. Audit and Inspection Management**:

- Prepare for statutory inspections and audits conducted by healthcare regulators.
- Address non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Support internal and external audits related to statutory and licensing requirements.

**4. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain a central repository for all compliance-related documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of compliance-related reports to regulatory authorities.

**5. Risk Management**:

- Identify compliance risks and proactively mitigate them.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Specialized training or certification in healthcare compliance is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in statutory compliance, licensing, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the healthcare sector.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., Clinical Establishments Act, NABH, pollution control laws, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with regulatory bodies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using compliance management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
