Job Description:
Managing staff: Assigning tasks to housekeeping team members, monitoring their performance, and providing feedback and guidance. Developing and implementing training programs to ensure high-quality service.

Maintaining cleanliness: Inspecting guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Addressing any issues or areas that require attention, such as repairs or maintenance.

Inventory control: Monitoring and tracking housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good condition. Maintaining records of inventory and ordering new supplies when necessary.

Coordinating schedules: Creating work schedules for housekeeping staff, considering factors like occupancy levels and special requests. Ensuring adequate coverage to meet operational needs.

Handling guest requests or complaints: Addressing any guest concerns or requests related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Budget management: Assisting with budget planning and control for the housekeeping department. Monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing recommendations to optimize operational efficiency.

Implementing and enforcing policies: Enforcing policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and security. Training staff on these policies and ensuring compliance.

Collaboration with other departments: Coordinating with other departments, such as front office or maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Staff development: Identifying training needs and providing ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and performance.

Overall, a Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction within a facility.
