**Job Title: Associate
- Regulatory Reporting Analyst**

**Location: Bangalore India**

**Overview**:
The role is to perform a number of key functions that support and control the business in complying with a number regulatory requirements such as Markets in Financial Directive “MiFID II”. This role forms part of Quality Assurance and Innovation team(s) in Bangalore that supports Regulatory reporting across all asset classes: Rates, Credit, Commodities, Equities and Foreign Exchange.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop a thorough understanding of RCP Operations Jurisdictional coverage, architecture and existing controls. Becoming an SME of the QA repeatable processes for multiple jurisdictions including EMIR, CFTC, MiFID II, Bank of England, MMSR.
- Building and subsequent execution of testing scenarios based on understanding of business requirements & key risk areas; with aim to test reporting is accurate to DB’s books and records.
- Develop relationships with key business & operational contacts for each asset class to ensure unknown data mapping concerns are raised, remediated and incorporated into future QA Cycles.
- Work with our stakeholders to analyses business intelligence needs.
- Documentation of BI deliverables.
- Support the design of data models, reports and visualizations to meet business needs
- Develop end-user reports and visualizations
- Creatively and independently, provide resolution to technical problems in a cost-effective manner
- Supports end-user training and the creation of training materials.
- Perform root cause analysis or exceptions with investigation & appropriate escalation of any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation or any other stream to senior management to ensure transparency exists in our controls.
- Utilize Jira to effectively categorize and track issues raised during the testing cycle.
- Analyze, suggest and execute process and procedures optimization and improvements including automation of test scripts.
- Positive, constructive approach to Quality Assurance testing with emphasis on delivering good stakeholder outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders ensuring management are kept up to date with progress, challenges and required escalations.

**Your skills and experience**
- 7-10 year’s work experience within an audit or similar testing role within financial services.
- An understanding of trading (Credit, Rates and Equities) lifecycle events and the impacts this on regulatory reporting.
- Regulatory experience (MIFIR, EMIR, Dodd Frank, Bank of England etc.) is preferred.
- Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills including VBA.
- Experience in building reports and BI analysis with tools such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau, QlikView etc.
- Advanced SQL Experience.
- Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Clear and concise communication and escalation. Ability to recognize high risk situations and deal with them in a prompt manner.
